Candidates for the specialisation “Earthmoving and Materials Handling Machinery” should hold the BSc and having completed the II level course they will earn the MSc title. The MSc degree course enhances the students’ repository of engineering knowledge, teaching them how to handle basic tasks relating to the design, operation and maintenance of such machines. Thus obtained theoretical and practical skills will enable the students to design, construct and operate and select the earthmoving and materials handling machines and equipment. This knowledge is offered to the students within the framework of the body of major subjects. Practical application and extension of this knowledge is ensured through the system of senior project and the writing of final MSc thesis. Graduates shall be well prepared to handle and solve technical problems in mineral processing plants, in transport infrastructure, they might also work at universities and in research and development units.
Graduates who specialised in „Earthmoving and Materials Handling Machinery” will be able to will enable to design, construct, start-up, maintain and operate machines used in various sectors of industry. Extensive knowledge of basic and specialist engineering subjects supported by advanced computer skills, language skills, and a team work ability allow them to well compete on the labour market.
