The Department of Process Control with the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics prepare students for B.Sc. and M.Sc. diplomas within the framework of full-time and extramural studies. The direction of studies is Automatic Control and Robotics.
The graduates are familiar with methods of control units description and designing for different technical fields. It is due to constant updates of programmes and plans of study including following specialized subjects: Pneumatic and Hydraulic Drives and Control, Control Theory, Identification of Technological Processes, Industrial Controllers, Exploitation of Automation Systems, Supervising Control Systems, Industrial Measuring And Control Systems, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Management and Marketing. Students can choose optional subjects to broaden their knowledge in chosen areas, related to their diploma thesis or individual interests. Department’s employees widely cooperate with industry and apply results in the course of studies. Graduates who complete their studies in time and receive high marks are awarded cum laude diplomas as well as provided with a wide range of employment opportunities.
The graduates are well prepared for work in all industrial production fields. They can work as support engineers of machines and automation devices. They are able to design and develop both individual machines and automatic units, and fully automated production lines. High professional and IT skills as well as computer literacy enable them to work in different teams or to run their own businesses.
